Boutique landscape design-build is custom by definition. Here's how we structure projects — and what you can expect a typical one to cost.

Every project begins with an on-site consultation ($150), where we walk the property with you, scope the work specifically, and write a detailed, line-itemed proposal.
One-time projects

Design + Installation

Custom design and build for new beds, gardens, patios, walkways, structural plantings, and pergolas.

  • On-Site Consultation $150
    Credited toward installation. Does not include renderings.
  • Design Fees (renderings) $700–$10,000
    Scope-dependent.

Most multi-phase projects fall between $7K and $70K.

We've made a deliberate choice not to be a one-stop-shop for everything. Gardens by Oz works with a limited number of homeowners each year — primarily in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Suffolk — on properties where exceptional design and steady stewardship compound over time.

Starting prices reflect medium properties under typical conditions. Final pricing is determined after consultation, based on property size, accessibility, scope, material volume, and timing.
